Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining stocks in storerooms and lockers.
• Checking inventories and receipts for materials from suppliers.
• Maintaining records of supplies as required, and performing general housekeeping.
• Loading incoming supplies, tools and equipment into bins and on shelving.
• Receiving and reclassifying all types of returned material.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Operating material moving equipment and lifting/carrying boxes and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Meeting Department of Transportation physical qualification requirements for the job.
• Working evenings, weekends, holidays and unscheduled shifts as determined by the needs of the business.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for…

You know warehousing and you like to be busy and well-organized to stay on top of things.  You know that the whole team needs to work together to win—and you take pride in a job well done.

You’ll need to have:

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Prior experience in warehousing or the supplies field.

Even better if you have:

• Related Associate Degree or 2+ years of relevant work experience.

Additional Information

If you are hired into a New York City work location, the compensation range for this position is between $581.50 and $1590.50 per week*. The salary will vary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
